This is a single session to teach you how to effectively recall your dog with a remote collar.
This training session is for dogs – any breed – 35 lbs – 120lbs
The hands-down best tool available, to ensure the safety of your dog, when off leash anywhere.
The one shown is a ‘Dogtra 280c Tom Davis Edition’, with 127 training levels, and a high intensity pager (vibrator). The one I use with Charlie-Belle.
Important: This training is to condition your dog to understanding the light training stimulus from a remote collar, not to correct it. No correction techniques will be included in this training.
Training will be with the dog on a long leash, any collar, and a high quality remote collar and receiver.
Most dogs will condition-train on a low level between 7 and 15.

Successfully training your dog to a remote collar requires:
- A high quality remote collar/receiver with high training levels (at least 100 levels). Equipment description here.
- A long leash (20 ft or more) and any secure neck collar.
- Dog must have demonstrated proficiency in basic obedience.
- A pouch of training treats worn at belt level.
- Your ongoing training of the dog, after the session.
With daily practice, your dog will come to understand the meaning of the light stimulus from the collar. That will prepare the dog for longer range, off leash training.
This is a single training session for one dog age 6 months or older.
This training session will be scheduled for:
Dogs with proficiency in basic obedience commands
Allow one hour for this training session. 30 minutes of discussion, description, demonstration. 30 minutes of actively working the dog.
Those times will vary somewhat, but going much beyond that time will most often bring diminishing results as both the dog and handler tire.
